Sheffield Wednesday's remarkable position in the Championship table - based ONLY on Neil Thompson's games in charge

Sheffield Wednesday moved out of the Championship relegation zone following a 2-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday – bringing plenty of plaudits to Neil Thompson’s door.

The 57-year-old stepped in as caretaker boss following Tony Pulis’ sacking late-December and has performed a brilliant job since.

In seven league games, Thompson has recorded five victories and two defeats as the Owls fight to retain their second-tier status.
