Urhoghide was born to Nigerian parents in the Netherlands, where he spent his first five years before moving to England as a child, and therefore qualifies to play for each of those respective nations should they eventually opt to call him up for a closer look.

Having already been on camp with Nigeria’s U19s in the past, the Super Eagles route could be an interesting one for the young fullback, but it’s also thought that the Royal Dutch Football Association are keeping tabs on his situation. With those two chasing, the English FA may also step in if they fear they could be missing out.

The versatile Owls academy man, who can play as a fullback, centre back or as a defensive midfielder, is expected to be fit in time for SWFC’s preseason when it begins next month, and there will be plenty of eyes on him when the new campaign gets underway.
