Ivan Toney is absolutely flying in the Championship this season, scoring 24 goals in 30 games for the Bees as he continues what has been a remarkable goalscoring year for the forward.
Not too many teams have been able to stop the 24-year-old from scoring against them this season (he got two at Hillsborough back in October), but was missing as they fell to a shock 2-0 defeat at the hands of Coventry City over the weekend.

Speaking to the media over the weekend, Brentford’s Thomas Frank said, “It’s a contact to the ankle, it’s not like a clear twist, so it depends how quickly it will turn around.
“Ivan is the best striker in the division. But we need to be able to play without Ivan, like we’ve been able to play without Christian (Norgaard) and Pontus (Jansson), who are key members in the team.”
It remains to be seen whether Toney will be make a speedy recovery in time for the visit of SWFC on Wednesday night, but his absence would certainly make things a little easier for the visitors – however they’ll still need to be at their very best to get something out of a game against one of the division’s best sides.
