Hide AdNow, with former Wednesday player, Brian Barry-Murphy, on the lookout for new players to help them in their quest to avoid the drop this season, it is thought that they have identified the Owls academy graduate as a potential signing.
Grant signed his first professional contract at Wednesday in 2018, but it has been suggested that Rochdale are keen to bring him on board on a permanent basis if possible before this evening’s deadline.
Wednesday are known to be on the lookout for a new left back and striker in the coming hours as Neil Thompson seeks to bolster his ranks, while there could also be movement on Alex Hunt amid interest from clubs eager to try and bring him in on loan.
The Star will keep track of all Wednesday matters as the day progresses, to see what can – or can’t – be done before the window slams shut in just a few hours’ time.
