Watch Josh Windass and Michael Smith give Sheffield Wednesday a fantastic lead v Portsmouth
Danny Röhl will be desperate to get back to winning ways tonight, and he’s named his Sheffield Wednesday XI that he hopes can do a job on Portsmouth.
There were always going to be changes after a couple of difficult games against Burnley and Swansea City in quick succession, with the long trip to Fratton Park coming just a few days after the latter - and a few days before another away day at Brentford in the Carabao Cup.

Speaking to the media ahead of the game he said, “Portsmouth have shown different faces over the last two games, but for us, we go there wanting to play our game, with our principles, we have a lot of energy... Sometimes you have not a good feeling after a game but we must look to the performance. For me the cup is not half empty, it’s half full and with this mindset, we go into the next games.”

Here’s how the two teams line up -
Wednesday XI: Beadle, Valentin, Palmer, Bernard, Famewo, M Lowe, S Charles, Bannan, Musaba, Windass, Smith
Portsmouth XI: Archer, Ogilvie, Poole, Potts, O’Mahony, Saydee, Mcintyre, Dozzell, Murphy, Devlin, Lanc
