Hold onto your hats. Hold onto your boots, your sleeves, your boxer shorts. Because tonight is a massive night for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.
It’s been a long road from that first outing in front of fans here way back when Huddersfield knocked the Owls out of the Carabao Cup.
And the hope is that it doesn’t end at this point as Darren Moore’s Owls seek to overturn a 1-0 deficit.

Sheffield Wednesday v Sunderland - Live updates from Hillsborough
Mickey Gray’s assessment on the match via TalkSport..
[Josh Windass did well when he came on on Friday], he started to get down behind the backline of Sunderland so it’s a change that I thought might happen. I thought Berahino looked dead on his feet when he came off the football field.
The big surprise for me is, I thought he was one of Sheffield Wednesday’s better players [on Friday], is Liam Palmer on that right hand side.So Jack Hunt has some big shoes to fill tonight if he gets the opportunity to burst forward as a wing-back on that right hand side.
It’s all set up tonight to be a brilliant game. The atmosphere is going to be absolutely electric.
Being an away side, Sunderland have got to stay nice and tight and solid tonight. If they do that they give themselves a chance but I do think Sheffield Wednesday will put in a better performance than what they did on Friday.
[Darren Moore] will expect Jack Hunt to get forward and get more bodies in the opposition’s half and that’s his job tonight and try to keep a clean sheet for his side as well.
