DM on the opportunity to beat a Championship side

It’s a good opportunity. For us it starts tomorrow and we are ready as can be, we’ve had a good preseason and we have to take that now and win the game tomorrow.

It would mean a lot to us and the football club in terms of the campaign.

    DM on Jordan Rhodes

I know Jordan really well. He’s moved on for them and he’ll be here tomorrow focusing on doing well for them.

Jordan can cause us problems, we have to play our own game. It’ll be good to see him tomorrow but we have to remain focused.

    DM on Town’s resurgence

There’s a structure there that will have been heavily reinforced in the time we’ve had.

Really looking forward to the game, they’re a good quality opposition and we want to start it off at our absolute best.

Without a doubt I’m looking forward to it.

Huddersfield have been progressing well in preseason and we look forward to the match, they’re a good team with a goo structure.

He’s put his stamp on the club and I’m looking forward to seeing him again.

We need a winning culture. We all want that and we’re no different here. We’re in the business to win games.

At this stage we’re into the final parts. Ours has come earlier with the cup match coming forward, looking at the squad in terms of volume and distances. I’m pleased with it, apart from Josh coming through injured.

    I’m relatively pleased.

I understand why the media may have linked us, I’ve known him for a long time and I’ve worked with him before.

It’s a possibility, our friendship goes back many, many years. I won’t be drawn to say whether it will be Wayne. He’s a good man and a dear friend of mine.

    DM on players heading out

There have been one or two enquiries for the younger ones, but it has to be right for the club and the player.

Unless it’s the right fit, we need to wait and see.

We’ve been linked with all sorts - there are too many names to go at really.

Josh as a separate entity, I’ve worked with him before and we know the situation. I won’t be drawn - I’ve worked with him and he’s a good player.

Marvin Johnson is a good player.

We’re still after all sorts really. In pre-season, we’re just focusing. Whatever the speculation is, we need to focus on a great game tomorrow.

Let’s wait and see what the outcome is. Flo is in the building now and we’re pleased to secure him.

Do we need others? Let’s wait and see.
