The Owls have found the back of the net just 15 times this season – fewer than any club in the second tier – and are in the market to bring in a forward before the January transfer window draws to a close on Monday evening.

The 24-year-old frontman, who has previously played for Carlisle United, has enjoyed a fruitful time north of the border having scored 23 goals for the Dons last season and 21 times during the 2018-19 campaign.

“We maybe need one or two bodies in to strengthen the squad, I think that’s been publicised.”
