The 29-year-old, Wednesday's club-record £8m buy, has been rewarded for his bright cameo in Saturday's victory over Brentford with his first Owls start since April 2018.

Rhodes has been given the nod over Atdhe Nuhiu in attack and will partner 10-goal top-scorer Steven Fletcher up front.

Boss Garry Monk has also opted to make a change in midfield, recalling Adam Reach to midfield at the expense of Jacob Murphy. Reach is expected to be stationed on the right flank in a 4-4-2 formation, with Kadeem Harris on the opposite wing.
