Sheffield Wednesday team news: Cameron Dawson returns as Owls take on Brentford

Garry Monk has made four changes to his Sheffield Wednesday side set to face Brentford this afternoon, with Cameron Dawson coming back into the side after Joe Wildsmith’s appearance in their FA Cup defeat to Manchester City in midweek.

The team may well set up in the same system that battled to that 1-0 defeat, with Steven Fletcher returning to the starting line-up after his cameo with Alessio Da Cruz and the Josh Windass offering support.

Windass returns to the side after scoring in his impressive outing against Derby County but there is no place for loanee Connor Wickham, who waits from the bench.

Massimo Luongo has not made his return from injury in time and teenager Alex Hunt retains his place on the bench. Tom Lees comes in for the injured Julian Borner.

Cameron Dawson comes back in between the sticks for Sheffield Wednesday at Brentford.

Owls: Dawson; Palmer, Lees, Iorfa, Fox; Murphy, Bannan, Pelupessy, Da Cruz; Windass, Fletcher

Subs: Wildsmith, Harris, Nuhiu, Wickham, Hunt, Urhoghide, Forestieri
