Sheffield Wednesday striker set for medical ahead of proposed move

The Star has previously reported that the 19-year-old was a target for a number of clubs after it became apparent that he’d be available on loan this season, with Lincoln City having opened up negotiations recently in order to try and bring him on board.

Now it’s thought that Cadamarteri, an England youth international, is set to undergo a medical ahead of his proposed switch, however there are believed to be some finer details still to be sorted out before it is finalised and sanctioned.

‘Cadz’ played a big role in the Owls’ survival in the Championship last season after being bumped up from the U21s to the senior ranks by Danny Röhl – getting five goals and assists – however it has been decided that he could benefit from a campaign away playing regular senior football.

The Imps are seen as a good fit for the attacker because of their style of play, and manager, Michael Skubala, is known to be a fan of the player – hence the decision to try and get him in before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Friday.
