Sheffield Wednesday release first glimpse at new Macron training gear
Sheffield Wednesday’s preseason training camp is underway.
The Owls have made the trip to Wales and will undertake a intensive 10-day camp, leading up to a behind-closed-doors friendly with Celtic on July 7.
A smaller squad than usual has made the trip, including several youngsters who will be given the chance to impress the coaching staff including manager Darren Moore Work is continuing to bring new players in ahead of the season opener on August 7.
Pictures released from the camp by the club’s media team show a host of senior players enjoying a run around their practice facility.
And aside from the presence of the likes of Dominic Iorfa and Massimo Luongo, who both missed the second half of last season through injury, it offered a glimpse of the club’s new training kit.
In a surprise announcement, Wednesday confirmed last week that they would be switching to well established kit manufacturer Macron ahead of the new season.
