Both youngsters have played a large role in preseason with Moore’s first team this summer after they had loan spells away from the club in 2021/22, and the Owls boss has been impressed with what he’s seen of them in recent weeks.

When asked about the pair, Moore told The Star, “They’ve been in with us as part of the squad, they’re part of the squad that has to report tomorrow, and I’ve kept them together all preseason.

“Both players have had interest from other clubs for a loan opportunity, but at the moment we’ve declined those loans because both players have been part of the first team.

“It’s been great for me to see them, see how they’ve development and how far they’ve come… And they’ve seen the benefits of that as well.

“I’ve been really pleased to have them on board, and they have made significant strides in terms of their development.”
