Sheffield Wednesday reject offers for two players as Owls prepare for Portsmouth
Both youngsters have played a large role in preseason with Moore’s first team this summer after they had loan spells away from the club in 2021/22, and the Owls boss has been impressed with what he’s seen of them in recent weeks.

Hide AdHe had explained previously that the Hunt, 22, and Galvin, 21, could both potentially end up out on loan at some points this season, however - for the time being at least – it looks as though they’ll be staying put at Hillsborough.
When asked about the pair, Moore told The Star, “They’ve been in with us as part of the squad, they’re part of the squad that has to report tomorrow, and I’ve kept them together all preseason.
“Both players have had interest from other clubs for a loan opportunity, but at the moment we’ve declined those loans because both players have been part of the first team.

Hide Ad“It’s been great for me to see them, see how they’ve development and how far they’ve come… And they’ve seen the benefits of that as well.
“I’ve been really pleased to have them on board, and they have made significant strides in terms of their development.”


The Wednesday manager wouldn’t be drawn on which teams exactly have made their desire to sign the midfielder and defender on a loan basis, though he has said recently that they were the subject of interest from other clubs in the EFL.
