The Owls take on Birmingham City at Hillsborough tomorrow in a hugely important bottom-of-the table clash after what has been yet another rollercoaster of a week for the club.

They’ve had a game postponed, lost to Stoke City, learned that young talent Liam Shaw is going to Celtic at the end of the season and their skipper Barry Bannan has signed a new contract.

And now there’s the small matter of a visit of the team who are currently level on points with Wednesday in the relegation zone, with only goal difference keeping the Owls above the Blues.
