Sheffield Wednesday RECAP: Achraf Lazaar has joined Watford | Chey Dunkley and Neil Thompson covered many topics today
After adding another ‘W’ to the tally on Tuesday night, Sheffield Wednesday now turn their attention to the weekend and a very difficult test.
The Owls take on Swansea at Hillsborough on Saturday, with both sides facing opposite ambitions – the Swans currently third in the table and making a push for automatic promotion, while Wednesday continue to try and pull themselves away from relegation.
Another win for Neil Thompson’s side on Tuesday against Wycombe saw Wednesday edge out of the bottom three but they’ll find this one much more difficult on Saturday.
Swansea are unbeaten in the Championship since December 16 when Derby took the points against Steve Cooper’s men.
The Owls should be full of confidence, though and with Jordan Rhodes back on the goal trail they will fancy their chances of picking up a positive result.
Thompson is speaking to the media this morning and Chey Dunkley will give us his views on what the mood has been like in the camp.
