LIVE: Sheffield Wednesday press day - Harlee Dean and Darren Moore
DM on Luongo
Physically Mass is in the best position that he’s been in.
I kick myself looking back at Rotherham. It was the last kick of the game in the 90th minute he sustained the injury.
He’s worked incredibly well to go forward. Will he play all eight games in February? No. I say that for the group of players.
DM on Windass
We feel now after that lengthy lay-off he’s ready.
He does what it says on the tin - he scores goals. We’ve had to put the reins on him.
He could be in the starting 11.
DM on Chansiri’s backing
I want to win games. That’s what I’m in it to do.
My mindset and mentality won’t change. I’m thankful to Mr Chansiri to allow us to readdress the squad, I’ve thanked him personally.
I just want to close the window and press on with what is ahead.
DM on Wing
It’s just been the dynamics of the squad. I know a month or so ago there was a lot of talk about him going back.
I wouldn’t say it would be Wing, we’re still in the window and I’m not saying anything is a done deal.
DM on loan players
It’s possible. The reason there is a high volume is because a couple are long-term injuries.
The numbers aren’t quite as high.
There’s a possibility one or two or maybe none could return.
DM on more incomings
I think I am done. I want the window to close now and get on with it.
We need to focus on the games ahead. The games will come thick and fast and we have to be ready for it.
We’ll work from here.
DM on TJJ
He’s a nine or a nine and a half. He plays it well and is another striker I’ve worked with before.
He scores goals and has high expectation. We’re pleased to add him to the group.
We’ve a fixture list pile-up over a sustained period. We wanted to add quality.
DM is here - first up.. Harlee Dean
Really we’re really pleased to get him in. I wanted to get an experienced one in there.
To have a player like that is great. There’s been a need for that space in the team. I wanted to give him an opportunity to come and be a part of what we’re trying to do here.
He’s got the bit between his teeth. Players want to play and get on the frontline. He expressed a desire to come here and we’re pleased to get him on board.
