Sheffield Wednesday managed again to drop points late in the game, with Derby County this time the beneficiaries and as far as Owls performances were concerned, it was a mixed bag. Here's how we rated them.
5. Sam Hutchinson 7
One of his best displays of the season in the first half. Leading the Owls' defensive efforts, Hutchinson crashed around, breaking up play and making important tackles - more than any other player on the night. Photo: Steve Ellis
6. Barry Bannan - 7
The assist for Fletcher's goal was sheer class from Bannan. Pouncing on Craig Forsyth's misplaced pass, he released his countryman with a single, deftly-directed pass. Faded a touch, but that was Bannan at his brilliant best. Photo: Steve Ellis
7. Steven Fletcher - 7
Is there a more in-form Championship forward in front of goal? That's five in three now for the Scot, who's first-time finish from Bannan's classy through-ball was the work of a player in the shape of his career. Quite thereon, however. Photo: Steve Ellis
8. Jordan Rhodes - 6
His first start for 599 days. Worked diligently but looked leggy and slow. If his is a cause Monk wants to champion it may take time. Hooked for Nuhiu on 72 minutes. Photo: Steve Ellis
