5. Josh Windass
Windass battled back from a horror 2021/22 campaign and was among the best performers in the division - though injury has reared its head again. The contract he signed in August last year comes to an end in the summer though there is a clause - the terms of conditions of which are shrouded in mystery and are not believed to be wholly straight-forward. 6. Aden Flint
In on loan from Stoke City, the giant centre-half will leave Wednesday as things stand and unless something mad happens at the Potteries will become a free agent. Would Wednesday nip in to pick him up?
7. Marvin Johnson
Now into his second season at the club after Wednesday triggered an extension in his deal last summer, it seems unlikely there would be a further clause on this season’s contract - though it’s not beyond the realms of possibility.
