MANCHESTER City youngster Jeremy Helan today made a deadline-day loan move to Hillsborough.

The 20-year-old has been signed for a month and looks set to be in the squad for Saturday’s home game against Leicester.

Born in France, Helan joined City from French club Rennes four years ago.

He can play at left back or on the left side of midfield.

Helan has been a member of City’s academy for the past three seasons and has established himself as a regular in their development squad.

He has made one first-team appearance for the Premier League champions, as a sub in their 4-2 home defeat by Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup in September.

Helan recently returned from a month’s loan at Shrewsbury, and just over a year ago spent a month at Carlisle.
