Carlos Carvalhal has confirmed Sheffield Wednesday are close to signing a new goalkeeper to replace Lewis Price.

The Star understands the Owls have agreed a deal to sign Norwich City shot-stopper Jake Kean, with Price having opted to join Rotherham United.
Speaking after Wednesday's 2-0 friendly win at Chesterfield today, head coach Carvalhal said: "Lewis Price has moved to Rotherham. He's signed a two-year deal.
"We will sign a goalkeeper and there will be an announcement on Monday."

Carvalhal has no complaints with Price opting to move on, saying: "We have no problem with Lewis going.
"We were happy with Lewis but wish him all the best. In the period that he was here, he was a very good professional. Everybody liked him and he did very good work.
"We hope that the goalkeeper who comes in can be better. We are trying to improve the team."
Strikers Steven Fletcher and Gary Hooper were left out against the Spireites, having sustained minor injuries in training. Carvalhal says the duo may be fit for their next friendly at home to Benfica on Wednesday.
