Sheffield Wednesday outline options for refunds on tickets bought for matches that will now be played behind closed doors

Sheffield Wednesday are preparing several options for supporters to claim a rebate on tickets purchased for matches which will now be played behind closed doors, the club have announced.

One option for season ticket holders looks set to be being granted access to remaining matches via the online iFollow streaming service.

The EFL have confirmed the basic schedule for the remaining Championship fixtures, with a restart date of June 20 and regular season matches finishing on July 21 or 22 ahead of a play-off campaign.

The organising body also confirmed that season ticket holders at clubs will be able to access fixtures online.

The Owls are awaiting further information from the EFL over live streaming and will confirm the options next week.

Wednesday have also suggested options will include a pro rate refund, equivalent value in ticket credit, merchandise points and opportunities for donations.
