'No new concerns' - Positive Sheffield Wednesday injury update but many will miss out vs Norwich City
Sheffield Wednesday have no fresh injury concerns for tonight’s game against Norwich City, as confirmed by the club today.
The Owls have had a tough time on the injury front of late, with many first-team players unavailable for selection in recent matches as they nurse a varying degree of issues. But they aren’t the only ones, with Norwich having to deal with a horrendous run of injury problems that was made worse after Liam Gibbs was ruled out for the game this evening.

Thankfully there are no new additions to Wednesday’s list, though, with the club naming just those already known about on the list of players unavailable for selection later tonight.
They said on their website, “Henrik Pedersen has reported no new injury concerns and will select from the same squad that posted a point at The Hawthorns... Di’Shon Bernard, Nathaniel Chalobah, Pierce Charles, Olaf Kobacki and Ernie Weaver remain in the recovery room.

“The Canaries have an injury list running into double figures with Liam Gibbs the latest player to fall. Gibbs has suffered a hamstring strain and will miss the match tonight, together with a whole host of teammates.”
Gibbs joins the likes of Jack Stacey, Lucien Mahovo and Elliot Myles among those on the Canaries’ list of walking wounded, and Manning will no doubt be frustrated with the amount of players that he’s not able to select from.
Wednesday and Norwich lock horns at 7.45pm tonight as the Championship’s bottom two look to try and pick up three big points, and for the Owls it offers a big chance to finally get their first home victory of the season after some strong performances on the road.
