Sheffield Wednesday man gives honest assessment as Owls home woes continue

Sheffield Wednesday must improve their quality in the final third if they are to bounce back from defeat against Brentford when they take on Luton on Saturday.

According to The World Game in Australia, the Owls were one club that showed an interest in former Hull City man, Jackson Irvine.

They said, “There was interest from Massimo Luongo’s Sheffield Wednesday but the proposed switch didn’t pan out. Turkey was also briefly on the menu.

“Irvine’s agent, former Socceroos linchpin Vince Grella, is casting the net far and wide to find him a new home.”
