Sheffield Wednesday news LIVE: Izzy Brown on life at Hillsborough | Tributes to Owls legend Peter Swan | Josh Murphy latest
We’re closing in on the weekend and that means a return to action for Sheffield Wednesday, at last.
The Owls haven’t played since the FA Cup third round tie against Exeter City on January 9 and it’s in the cup that they get back at it on Sunday when interim boss Neil Thompson takes the team to Merseyside to face Everton.
Of course there’s plenty going on behind the scenes too, with a new manager still yet to be recruited and the addition of Andre Green to the squad last week shows that the lack of a permanent man in charge is not a major stumbling block in player recruitment.
We have all the latest on those issues and everything else happening at Wednesday here on our live blog throughout the day.
