Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping to bring their three-game winless run to an end when they welcome Blackpool to Hillsborough on Sunday afternoon.
Wednesday began life without former boss Henrik Pedersen with an entertaining 1-1 draw against Cambridge United at Hillsborough on Tuesday evening. Despite taking the lead through Mason Burstow, the Owls were forced to settle for a point after Sully Kaikai finished off a rapid U’s counter-attack to equalise.
With Pedersen’s successor yet to be appointed, interim boss Matt Hamshaw will take charge for a second time and will be determined to lead the Owls to a much-needed three points following a run of just one win in their last seven League One matches.
Ahead of the visit of the Tangerines, Wednesday are waiting to discover whether centre-backs Liam Cooper, Ricardo Santos and Di’Shon Bernard will be available, with Hamshaw admitting that an extra day’s preparation for the game could boost their chances of featuring.
Here is how The Star thinks Wednesday could line up...

1. GK: Ashley Maynard-Brewer
With Joe Lumley still sidelined by a rib injury, Maynard-Brewer is expected to remain between the posts and make his fifth consecutive League One start. | Steve Ellis

2. RB: Yan Valery
Valery has made the right-back spot his own this season, meaning he is expected to make a 12th League One start in a row. The Tunisian, like several of his teammates, will be hunting for more consistency after some inconsistent performances recently. | Steve Ellis

3. CB: Ernie Weaver
Following a sudden increase in injuries at centre-back, Weaver’s anticipated loan move to non-league Hornchurch was called off last week. Based on his performance against Cambridge in midweek, Wednesday will be glad they kept hold of him. After overcoming a shaky start, he produced an excellent display at the back, which should see him retain his place this weekend. | Steve Ellis

4. CB: Max Lowe
With Cooper, Santos and Bernard in a race against the clock to be fit, Wednesday might play it safe by deploying Lowe at centre-back for the second game running. Although left-back is his natural position, the former Derby County man has shown enough quality to demonstrate that he is capable of operating in the middle of the defence. | Getty Images
