The Owls playmaker, who has been in and out of the side in a mixed season so far, has described the difficulties of training from home and the uncertainty of not knowing when the current season could restart.

“The current crisis puts everything into perspective,” he told swfc.co.uk. “The first priority is everyone following the guidelines and hopefully the lockdown will have the desired effect.

“The health of everyone has to come first. Only when we get the green light to move to the next phase can we start thinking of football but right now the priority is everyone’s health and safety.

“That’s a real positive but we all know the differences between general fitness work and training and playing games.

“So we’re in the hands of those who know best at the moment and as much as we all want to get back to training and playing, we have to be patient and wait until the time is right.”
