Owls overcame a host of clubs to land Da Cruz - report
Wednesday had to overcome the challenge of several clubs to land loan signing Alessio Da Cruz from Serie A side Parma.
Popular midfielder Sam Hutchinson faces uncertain future
Sam Hutchinson's future at Wednesday is looking increasingly precarious, the Star understands.
The uncompromising midfielder was left out of the Owls' 18-man squad for Saturday's goalless draw with Millwall at Hillsborough.
Barry Bannan and Joey Pelupessy were selected in the centre while academy graduate Alex Hunt was preferred to Hutchinson on the bench.
The 30-year-old's present Owls contract is set to run out this summer and it looks highly unlikely that Hutchinson will be involved when Monk's side return to Championship action at Barnsley on Saturday.
