Sheffield Wednesday LIVE: Owls unveil Darren Moore as new manager - all the latest reaction
Sheffield Wednesday’s defeat at Luton Town on Saturday felt much different to the 15 others they have suffered in the Championship this season.
Losing 3-2 after a leading 2-0 at the break following a dominant first half showing at Kenilworth Road felt like a season-defining result as the Owls continue with their battle to climb away from the Championship drop zone.
Only time will tell what the long-term effects of the second half collapse in Bedfordshire will be but one thing is for certain, they’re now six points from safety going into Wednesday’s huge six-pointer against South Yorkshire neighbours Rotherham United at Hillsborough.
We’ll have all the build-up to what will be a massive game for Neil Thompson’s men as well as more reaction to Saturday’s miserable defeat against the Hatters.
