Sheffield Wednesday LIVE: Millwall 4-1 Owls - Neil Thompson to meet the press after SWFC collapse
It’s matchday for Sheffield Wednesday once again, and they’re out to do something they haven’t done since 2018...
The Owls haven’t beaten Millwall since August 2018, and haven’t won at The Den since 2015, but they’ll be in high spirits for this one following an impressive late win over Bournemouth thanks to a lovely Jordan Rhodes goal earlier this week.
We’ll be here throughout the day to bring you all the news and updates as they happen from down in Bermondsey, with Joe Crann here on the blog and Alex Miller on at the ground to make sure everyone knows what’s happening as it happens.
Make sure you stay with us and keep it locked here on the blog as well as our various social media channels, and hopefully – depending on how results go – Wednesday could have climbed out of the Championship relegation zone by the time the evening is done.

NT on more clarity?
That’s not for me to answer.
NT on Wycombe
At the end of the day the target is to win the next game… Is it a must win? We’ll only know that at the end of the table. They’re desperate for the three points as well.
We got beat 1-0 there and dominated, and it didn’t happen. We owe ourselves to recover from today and go and get three points.
NT on player availability
We have a bench full of capable players, who want to come in. I’m not sure if we’ll have anybody new back for the next game.
NT on Westwood
He made some great saves today, that’s for sure.
NT on lessons learned
We do have to learn from it in terms of how the Championship is played, and you have to be able to deal with that. They play direct, they do it well, and we coped well in the first half, but the second half we kept giving away corners, freekicks, and you put yourself under pressure.
NT on Luongo and Marriott
He tweaked his thigh, it’s hopefully not too bad but he’ll be assessed. It’s frustrating for him, because he’s been chomping at the bit.
Jack has had a couple of issues he’s been dealing with.
More on NT
We’ve got to regroup. You get energised by how you play, and we need to get back again - Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday.
It’s what football is. We don’t get carried away and we don’t get too down.
