Sheffield Wednesday-linked star could join divisional rivals instead, Spurs favourites to land Norwich star

Sheffield Wednesday's relegation zone struggles continued last weekend, as new manager Darren Moore saw his side slump to a 3-0 defeat away to Reading, in a game in which his side crumbled following the dismissal of defender Julian Borner before the half-hour mark.

Speaking after the defeat, Moore revealed: “I knew the task coming into it, and what was ahead of us, but it’s a wonderful challenge. You have to have a great inner belief, and belief in the players and the structure of the club.

“It’s a wonderful club that has probably just lost its way a little bit, but it’s still all to play despite what’s happened this season.

“We’ve got to get back on the training ground and get working again. It’s essential that they stick together, that’s got to be the main focus. We’re have a tough week where things have gone against us, but it’s a week when we’re also trying to put things right.”
