Owls defender Liam Palmer has today penned a two-year contract extension.
The full-back, a graduate of the club’s youth system, has committed his future to the Championship club until 2019.
Worksop-born Palmer joined Wednesday as a seven-year-old in 1997, making his debut six years ago.
Palmer grew up playing in central midfield but was eventually switched to full-back. He has clocked up 143 appearances for his hometown club.
The 25-year-old, who spent time on loan at Tranmere Rovers during the 2012/13 campaign, featured 19 times last year in the Owls’ run to the Championship Play-Off Final and has already played 10 times this time around.
