Kieran Lee has agreed to extend his stay with Sheffield Wednesday.
The midfielder has signed a new two-year deal with the Owls after being offered new terms with his contract was set to expire at the end of the month.
He has made 89 appearances for Wednesday since joining from Oldham three years ago.
Lee managed six goals for the Owls last season including the injury time winner against Rotherham United at the New York Stadium.
He is the first of the five players offered new terms to sign up with the club awaiting decisions from Jose Semedo, Glenn Loovens, Chris Kirkland and Chris Maguire.
