Speaking ahead of the big match, Owls boss Darren Moore claimed his side were in for a scrap against the Terriers, and contended: “It’s another tough challenge, There are no games here that are going to be easy, we’re going to have to go and earn our points. Today was one of those and we see it won’t be any different on Wednesday night.
“We dust ourselves down and go again. Everybody here has seen a team go head-to-head with the league leaders (Norwich City), a team that was playing without fear today against the league leaders, a team that was disciplined off the ball.
“Then when we broke away with the ball we looked dangerous. It’s about building on that.”
When Wednesday last face Huddersfield, back in December, Carlos Corberan's side claimed a 2-0 win at the John Smith's Stadium, with Josh Koroma and Isaac Mbenza bagging the goals.
A win for the Owls could see them move to within four points of safety, as they look to leapfrog Rotherham United and close in on Lee Bowyer's Birmingham City.
