Charlton (5-3-2): Dillion Phillips; Ben Purrington, Tom Lockyer, Jason Pearce, Mouhamadou-Naby Sarr, Chris Solly; Deji Oshilaja, Albie Morgan, Darren Pratley; Jonathan Leko, Macauley Bonne.

Owls (4-3-3): Cameron Dawson; Moses Odubajo, Tom Lees, Dominic Iorfa, Morgan Fox; Sam Hutchinson, Barry Bannan, Massimo Luongo; Jacob Murphy, Kadeem Harris, Steven Fletcher.

Referee: Tim Robinson

The West Sussex-based whistler has issued 37 cautions and one red card in 12 matches this season. It will be the second time Robinson has officiated an Owls fixture in a little over a month. Robinson was the man in the middle when Wednesday were held to a goalless home draw with Yorkshire neighbours Leeds United. He will be assisted at The Valley by Adrian Waters and Mark Jones, with James Linington as the fourth official.

History lesson:

Sheffield Wednesday have a lousy recent record against Charlton Athletic, winning just one of the last seven meetings.

You have to go back to 2012 for the last time the Owls picked up maximum points at The Valley. Johnnie Jackson fired the Addicks in front just after half-time but Wednesday claimed the spoils after late goals from Reda Johnson and Leroy Lita.

On their last visit to south east London four years ago, Wednesday were brushed side 3-1. Johnson, Simon Makienok and Reza Ghoochanneijhad registered, with Fernando Forestieri bagging a consolation for Carlos Carvalhal's side.

One to watch: Jonathan Leko

The 20-year-old, on a season long-loan from West Bromwich Albion, has been a shining light for the Addicks this campaign. The 20-year-old has grabbed five goals since joining Charlton on a temporary basis, including three in his last three starts. Leko, an England Under-19 international, is quick, direct and likes to make things happen. He is primarily a winger but has been deployed by boss Lee Bowyer up front.
