The Owls got through the first round on Sunday, after Tom Delee guided Wednesday past Cambridge United, who were being controlled by fellow gaming pro Chris Wood.

Groningen, who have their own dedicated eSports channel, beat PEC Zwolle last night, with a 18-year-old Romano Postema tearing their divisional rivals apart with two clinical finishes.

There’s a serious cause behind all this. The QuaranTeam tournament is raising money, with 75% of everything raised will go to EFL clubs struggling with the loss of matchday revenue in this difficult time. 25% will be split between MIND and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fundraiser.
