Sheffield Wednesday defender delivers his verdict on Garry Monk's management style
Garry Monk's meticulous approach has been a key factor in the Owls' upturn in form.
That is the belief of Wednesday left-back Morgan Fox following a hectic run of fixtures.
After a demanding festive schedule where the Championship club lost three in a row in quick succession, the Owls answered their critics in emphatic fashion by beating promotion rivals Leeds United.
Saturday's 2-0 triumph at Elland Road saw Wednesday move back into the play-off positions. The result followed up their superb FA Cup win at Premier League Brighton and Hove Albion earlier this month.
And Fox, who has nailed down a place in the Owls side in recent months, has praised the job Monk has done in turning around the club’s fortunes.
"He [Monk] is good to work with on a day-to-day basis,” Fox told The Star.
"He is very meticulous in his work with how we are going to play, which I think is brilliant.
"We impose our game on the opposition as opposed to changing to what they are going to do and I think the boys have reacted well to that.”
The former Charlton Athletic man admits he has enjoyed Monk’s methods, saying: "He has been good for me.
“He is black and white with what your roles are and I think we have got a squad where everyone likes to know their jobs and what they have got to do.
"He is happy when we stick to that and so are we and we have got results from that.”
