Sheffield Wednesday dealt blow as former Hull City and West Brom keeper Boaz Myhill turns down coaching role

Birmingham Live say that Boaz Myhill, who played for a number of high-profile clubs including Hull City, West Brom and Birmingham, has decided to stay on in his role as academy goalkeeping coach at the Hawthorns club despite an offer to join the first team staff at Wednesday.
Pulis, who has made no secret of his desire to add to his backroom team since taking over from Garry Monk, had already added one former Premier League player to his coaching team in Craig Gardner, who arrived from Birmingham having played under the new Owls boss at West Brom.

Hide AdFormer recruitment man Mike Trusson also joined the Hillsborough club as assistant manager last week.
The report suggests Pulis and Wednesday ‘formally approached’ West Brom to discuss the role with Myhill but that the former Wales keeper had decided to stay put.
The news suggests Nicky Weaver may well be set to rejoin the Wednesday academy coaching ranks as the Welshman’s search for a goalkeeping coach goes on.
Weaver, a former Wednesday player and coach at the club since 2014, has taken the senior keepers since the departure of Darryl Flahavan with Monk earlier this month and warmed up all three stoppers – Keiren Westwood, Joe Wildsmith and Cameron Dawson – at Swansea City’s Liberty Stadium on Wednesday evening.
