Connor Wickham’s stoppage time equaliser against Nottingham Forest was ideal for Garry Monk and his Sheffield Wednesday side at an eerie Hillsborough. It keeps the Owls at arm’s length away from being dragged into a relegation scrap.
The team now have a week to prepare for a trip down south to face Bristol City and before an awkward period for side’s with the end of June signalling the end of many contracts and loan deals.
