Wednesday boss Garry Monk has made two changes to the starting XI for their home meeting with ninth-placed Millwall.

Monk, who was left fuming after the Owls' dire performance at relegation-threatened Wigan Athletic in midweek, has handed recalls to Liam Palmer and Adam Reach.

Palmer, fit-again following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to ankle problem, looks set to deputise at left-back for Morgan Fox. Former Charlton Athletic player Fox (ankle) is ruled out.

Striker Sam Winnall has dropped to the bench, with Reach likely to be deployed in the No 10 position behind lone striker Atdhe Nuhiu.

New signing Alessio Da Cruz, on loan from Serie A side Parma until the end of the season, has been named on the bench.

Attacking midfielder Josh Windass and striker Connor Wickham, recruited on deadline day, are not eligible to play.

Owls: Dawson; Odubajo, Iorfa, Borner, Palmer; Murphy, Bannan, Pelupessy, Harris; Reach, Nuhiu.
