Windass and Wickham, signed on loan from Wigan Athletic and Crystal Palace on deadline-day respectively, have been selected in an attack-minded Owls team.

Monk has also given a full debut to Alessio Da Cruz and a first-team recall to Fernando Forestieri following their bright second half performances in their goalless draw with Millwall last weekend. It is Forestieri's first start since Charlton Athletic at the end of November.

With full-backs Morgan Fox (ankle) and Moses Odubajo (hamstring) sidelined by injury, club captain Tom Lees returns in defence. Lees is expected to partner Julian Borner at centre-back, with Dominic Iorfa moving to right-back and Liam Palmer switched to the opposite flank.
