OWLS manager Dave Jones must sit in the stand for Saturday’s game at Leeds and the trip to Blackpool next Tuesday after receiving a two-match touchline ban from the FA.

It was revealed today that Jones received a misconduct charge for his post-match confrontation with the referee at Bristol City on Easter Monday after a City equaliser was allowed though keeper Chris Kirkland appeared to have been fouled.

Jones was already under a one-match suspended sentence for a flare-up involving Brighton coach Charlie Oatway at Hillsborough.

That ban now takes immediate effect and the FA have added an extra match for the Bristol offence.
