Owls duo Barry Bannan and Steven Fletcher have been named in Scotland's squad ahead of their World Cup qualifiers with Lithuania and Slovakia next month.
Both Bannan and Fletcher starred in Wednesday's victory at Blackburn Rovers last night, with Fletcher scoring the only goal of the contest in the 22nd minute.
Ex-Crystal Palace midfielder Bannan started the Scots' 5-1 thrashing of Malta in August as they kicked off their qualifying campaign in style. Striker Fletcher stepped up off the bench to claim his ninth international goal.
The pair have been in fine form for the Owls, playing major roles in the Hillsborough outfit picking up four victories from their last five Championship matches.
Since joining Wednesday on a free-transfer in the summer, Fletcher has found the back of the net three times in 10 appearances.
Scotland face Lithuania at Hampden Park on October 8 before a trip to Slovakia three days later.
