Top-scorer Steven Fletcher has been named in the Championship team of the week for the second week running.

The centre-forward scored twice in four second half minutes to give the Owls a 2-1 victory over Brentford last weekend.

Fletcher cancelled out Bryan Mbuemo's opener from the penalty spot after Rico Henry was adjudged to have handled Kadeem Harris' centre.

He then bagged a 73rd minute winner, firing a low shot past David Raya to take his goal tally to 10 for the season.

Fletcher was also included in the EFL's team of the week after his brace against Charlton Athletic on November 30.

Boss Garry Monk said: "Many moons ago I actually played against Fletch and I know what a handful he can be. I think what he has done is concentrate on his fitness.

"He is professional, understands what his body needs and looks after himself with his experience.”
