It's taken a little while but Sheffield Wednesday got back to winning ways on Saturday with an impressive 3-2 win over Fulham at Hillsborough.

Fernando Forestieri put the Owls in front with a header before Jamie O'Hara equalised. However, another header from Tom Lees recouped the lead and when Michael Turner made it 3-1 Wednesday looked home and dry.

Tom Cairney's goal for Fulham sparked a nervy last quarter for the home side but Wednesday held on to gain all three points, for the first time since the opening day.

Carlos Carvalhal said afterwards: "It was our afternoon and we deserved the win. We missed a lot of chances against Burnley and Bolton and we are still missing some chances, but we are playing good football."
