DM on flexibility
If we need to tweak and change then so be it. We need to win games. We have to keep working and get that all-important win.
DM on challenge on Windass
I have to look back on it. The players seem to think it maybe could be a red card, but I’ve not seen it.
It was a good move and opportunity to get in behind them. It worked a treat. If Josh had been able to continue it may have been a goal but I have to look back at it.
DM on relegation battle
I have to stay ultra-confident. We still have the games, the performance, grit and determination is there.
Nobody saw a Wednesday team throwing the towel in. We had a couple of half-chances.
DM on Westwood
We’re delighted to have him back, that experience and know-how. Joe has done superb but Keiren has that experience.
It was a tough decision, Joe has done well. The experience is key and he played a wonderful part in the game.
DM on injuries
Andre is back in, Joost we’ll look at in the week. With those bodies returning is great.
I’ll have a better idea in the coming days.
DM on performance cont.
I saw a team go toe to toe with the league leaders. It’s two moments of brilliance that have cost us today. We got into some wonderful positions.
The boys are disappointed in there. They came so close against the league leaders. My job is to pick them up and say we’re going again now.
Nobody will do it for us.
DM on display
They’ve got to show that spirit and endeavour. I’ve seen another improved performance. We can’t go back on that level and we have to keep building on that.
SHort term we need a win. The games are still there.
