We’re disappointed. We don;t want to lose games however it comes, but you’ll not hear me say anything with the players, they wanted to take a penalty.

On the 90 minutes it was high level. When Carlos and I decided to have the fixture, we knew it would be a tight 90 minutes in terms of the performance.

We’ve got another week in training and then we start the league campaign.

I thought one goal would win it. Both teams nullified each other. We had to be slicker and cleaner, and at times we ran the ball well.

The groundstaff need praise - the pitch was excellent, but both teams cancelled each other out. Bailey and Nicholls both made saves. It was a relatively even contest and we can take a lot out of it.

Darren Moore will be with us soon..

..follow here for everything he has to say.

Missed penalties from Massimo Luongo and Liam Palmer - and four good pennos from Huddersfield - put Wednesday out.

A good, solid performance in normal time though and plenty to work with.

Here we go..

90+ - Huddersfield wasting chances

They could’ve had a couple. Rhodes has been involved, heading on or two down. And a huge chance was there at the back post.

Are we going to pennos? Against Huddersfield? a chorus of boos from the Wednesday faithful.

Let’s get Fizzy..

On for Green in his new attacking position in midfield.

With a background of academy football under him, this is his first real show in front of a big crowd.

70’ - He’s back on..

Bannan is back on having received treatment on his ankle after a last-gasp tackle on the energetic Sorba Thomas.
