Scout report: Sheffield Wednesday v Reading - Owls look to bounce back from Luton Town defeat
Sheffield Wednesday endured a torrid night against Luton Town on Wednesday night, losing 1-0 to the league’s bottom club in a season low.
The Owls desperately need to get their season back on-track on Saturday, as they welcome Reading FC to Hillsborough.

How is their form?
Last five: L, D, D, L, D
Reading narrowly lost out to league leaders West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday night, losing 2-1 at the Madejski Stadium. That may be no disgrace, but their wider form is patchy to say the least, with the Royals without a win in seven. With that in mind, defeat for the Owls would surely be hugely damaging to the confidence of Garry Monk’s side.
League position?
Reading were looking to push towards a play-off place after beating Fulham at Craven Cottage in January, but a bad run of form has seen them slide down the table.
They sit in 16th place, five points behind Sheffield Wednesday, who are in 12th place before this game.

Hide AdOvie Ejaria is on-loan at Reading from Liverpool, with the Royals reportedly having an obligation to buy him at the end of the season.
Ejaria is a huge presence in midfield, and has the power and talent to cause serious damage in the middle of the pitch if the Owls don’t keep a close eye on him.
Odds?
Sheffield Wednesday: 19/20 Draw: 23/10 Reading: 14/5
