After a fantastic win over Leeds United, the next assignment for Sheffield Wednesday is a return to Hillsborough against Blackburn Rovers. Can the Owls keep their good run of form going? Check out all you need to know about Blackburn Rovers ahead of the big game below.

How is their form?

D, L, L, D, D

It’s fair to say that it isn’t too great! Rovers haven’t won any of their last five games, and in that run they’ve had some really disappointing results, including a 0-0 draw at home against Wigan Athletic and a 2-1 defeat away to out of form Huddersfield Town. Basically, the Owls should be winning this one.

League position?

Rovers are right among the cramped midtable section of the league. Currently in 13th place, Blackburn Rovers are only five points off the play-off places, yet also five points from 18th place. Who knows where they will end up.

Manager?

The Rovers gaffer is former Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray.

Dangermen?

Typically Rovers’ dangerman is top scorer Bradley Dack, however he sustained a bad ligament injury over Christmas and is out for a number of months, perhaps explaining their recent bad form. Adam Armstrong is their next top scorer with eight goals so far this season, and is one to watch.

Lineup last time out?

Walton, Nyambe, Lenihan, Adarabioyo, Bell, Travis, Evans, Armstrong, Holtby, Downing, Gallagher
