No team in the Championship has scored more away goals this season than the Owls (36), and only four teams have won more away games (8), and Parker will be aware of the fact that his side haven’t beaten Wednesday at Craven Cottage since 2014.

For Fulham, Aboubakar Kamara, Tom Cairney and Ivan Cavaleiro are all doubtful for the game, but Aleksandar Mitrovic is back having returned from his three-game ban for the 2-0 win over Cardiff City and 0-0 draw against West Bromwich Albion.

The Lilywhites have kept four clean sheets in a row now and are unbeaten in five games since being beaten by Leeds United at the end of last month, with Parker’s side still having an outside chance of automatic promotion if they pick up maximum points and their competitors slip up.

“We’ve got a tough game at the weekend against a very good Sheffield Wednesday team, and we need to keep moving really, and keep the momentum with us…

“It will be a tough challenge. Solid team, a team with some experience, and a good side.

“The freedom of nothing to play, the real off-the-cuff, and there’s nothing for them in that sense. And that freedom of play can obviously be a massive positive that could cause us problems. That’s sometimes the way it goes, and there’s a flip side of that as well obviously.

“Ultimately we need to worry about ourselves and address what we need to do. We need to come out with a real strong attitude, and a real determination about us to try and win the football match, like we always do."

Former Owl, Michael Hector, missed the 1-1 draw with Wednesday back in September, but is expected to start against his former teammates tomorrow afternoon.

The referee is Darren England, who will be refereeing both teams for the first time this season.
