The centre-forward will lead the line for Sheffield Wednesday's Under-23s in their meeting with Crewe Alexandra at Hillsborough this afternoon, kick-off 1pm.

Winnall, previously of Barnsley, has been on the sidelines since suffering knee ligament damage while on loan at Derby County last February. The 27-year-old then picked up a calf problem in September while he was entering the final stages of his rehabilitation following knee surgery.

Goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith, defender Morgan Fox and midfielder Sam Hutchinson also feature in the Professional Development League two clash . Hutchinson has not played since the Owls' Carabao Cup defeat to Wolves in August due to a groin injury.
